ABOUT
Samuy & Co. (Samuy Samoyeds) is a small home based kennel that prides our dogs on QUALITY and not quantity. Before we think about breeding a litter, we are always thinking about the future of our lines, the health of the puppies we put into the world and how mating 2 dogs together will better the breed.

What does this mean? It means that we do not breed our dogs all the time and because we want only the best for our dogs and puppies, we occasionally are looking for co-ownership homes. These homes are for puppies we would love to keep apart of our breeding program, but don't have the space or time to give them the love and attention that they deserve as if they were in someone else's home. As well as these puppies, we of course have beautiful healthy babies looking to go into their forever homes.

When you purchase a puppy from us, you will also be taking a piece of our hearts with you. There is so much time, money, heart and soul put into raising a litter and so many people just don't realise how much. I am there for my dogs through the whole process, from mating to whelping to bawling my eyes out when a puppy go to their new home and I am ALWAYS available for my puppy buyers for anything. We are here for the lifetime of your dog... ALWAYS.
BUYING A PUPPY
As mentioned above, we are only a small kennel, so we do have a waiting list for people who are interested in purchasing a puppy from us.

Before getting in touch with us or any breeder regarding a puppy, I highly recommend doing your research about the breed and truely understanding what you are committing to over the lifespan of your dog. Samoyeds are, of course, a stunning big white fluffy dog, but with them, comes the barking, the digging, the hair and the general stubbornness. For someone who has never owned a dog before, Samoyeds can be quite an overwhelming experience, but that is not to say that they certainly cannot be someone's first dog - it just requires you to know what you are getting into and putting the effort in to make it work.

As we are very selective about what homes out puppies go to, we ask that you please fill out our 'Puppy Questionnaire', and email it through to us. From there, I go through these applications and add people to my waiting list accordingly. When I have puppies available, I begin by going through my waiting list to get in contact with people to see where they are at. If you do end up buying a puppy elsewhere, it's polite to just let other breeders know that you have done so, so that they can take you off their waiting lists, as we do not want to be breeding a litter without having potential homes lined up for the other puppies.

When we do have litters planned, we cannot guarantee how many puppies or which sexes will be born while the bitches are pregnant. I do endeavour to let people know as soon as possible so that they can start preparing for a puppy, but even when puppies are born, I still do not guarantee anything until they are 2-4 weeks old as anything can happen during these critical weeks.
WHAT'S INCLUDED WHEN YOU BUY A SAMOYED FROM US?
Our puppy price tends to vary litter to litter. This is due to the variation in what we pay for stud fees, health testing and of course just the general increase of what is costs to raise a litter.

Our price for a puppy starts from $6000.00 (inc. GST)

This price includes your puppy and the following -
- Fully vet checked
- 1st vaccination
- Microchipped
- Eyes screened for abnormalities
- DNA taken for parentage (Orivet)
- Bile acid testing for Liver Shunt (best to be done at 12 weeks of age minimum, so we ask if you take your puppy for the bile acid test, that you let us know so that we can reimburse you for it)
- ANKC (Dogs Australia) Limited Pedigree Certificate (you cannot compete in dog sports or breed with this puppy)
- Signed contract between yourself and Samuy & Co. (Samuy Samoyeds)
- 6 weeks free puppy insurance (Pet Cover)
- Samuy & Co. Puppy Pack - includes comprehensive booklet (containing parents health information, copies of health testing results for puppies, pedigree papers, signed contract, feeding, grooming & training guides), blanket with mother and litter siblings scent, toys and a small bag of puppy food
